Loving The Flavours!

On 28th September we joined a gathering of some 100 local food producers at the Local Flavours 2016 Trade Show at the Norfolk Showground, organised by Anglia Farmers and The Lively Crew.

It was a great event, attended by buyers representing supermarkets, restaurants and pubs, sourcing a variety of high quality foods from the region.

At the Preva stall we were kept busy demonstrating the versatility of our Jazzy potato range, cooking up some great dishes for visitors to sample. You can learn more about these delicious little set-skinned potatoes at www.preva.co.uk/jazzy.html

The show was a great chance to meet up with fellow food and drink producers across East Anglia, with seminars, workshops, support and advice all on offer. It was lovely to meet such a great range of people and we found the day a great success!

Jazzy Car Wins Again!

The Jazzy car had a great weekend at Silverstone on 28th and 29th May, with Preva’s Ian Anderson and partner Amanda Black in fine form.

Equipped with new Pirelli tyres, the Jazzy car flew through the qualifying round, with Amanda in pole position and Ian just 0.2 seconds behind his teammate in the GTA class.

Ian’s first race got off to a great start, until a nasty incident (involving 2m high flames) meant that the distance between cars closed up when the safety car had to come onto the track. After the restart, Ian managed to achieve a clear gap again ahead of his rivals, before experiencing understeer problems, allowing O’Brien to get in front. In a nail-biting close finish, Ian achieved victory in the Jazzy car!

Amanda’s first race was also full of drama, with the Jazzy Ginetta making contact with another car, but Amanda kept her cool to finish third.

Sunday started well with a great qualifying round, claiming pole position by 0.3 seconds. The car had been reset to avoid understeer, but a problem then developed with oversteer! Amanda also had to contend with a spinning Porsche on the track, before achieving her fastest laps ahead of the driver swap. Ian drove a great race, securing another podium place with third position.

Congratulations, great driving by Ian and Amanda, and thank you to Lifetime Racing
www.lifetime-racing.com for all their hard work and trackside support.

So what’s Ian’s verdict on the weekend? “A challenging weekend with car setup and handling but overall happy with the outcome.”

The Jazzy Ginetta is a very striking car, decked out with the colour scheme and logo of Preva’s popular, tasty Jazzy potatoes www.preva.co.uk/jazzy.html Why not give them a try!
